Customized sensor solutions
When off-the-shelf standard sensors do not meet your needs, our professional design engineering team can help OEMs customize industrial measurement sensors based on the specifications provided by customers. From design to final assembly, including sensors, electronics that convert signals into data, cables to transmit data to the control system, and sealing requirements.
It can be smoothly integrated into the product assembly process. Our solutions include relevant standards as well as government certifications. We will work closely with you to advise on all aspects of development: from custom design to rapid prototyping to the manufacture of high-quality components.
Development Process: Three steps for OEMs to customize sensors
Design
A dedicated team of engineers will work with you to determine your needs. In the engineering session, we will review with you the expected function of the sensor, including which components should be considered for measurement.
We use detailed finite element analysis (FEA) to examine existing components, investigate ways to translate them into active sensors, and create a design concept for your solution.
Prototype
Prototyping development begins with the creation of test concepts and recommendations. This includes control charts of how requirements are met, partner pricing cost estimates for manufacturing prototypes, and target prices for mass production.
With rapid prototyping, sensors for functional testing can be developed in a matter of weeks. Once the prototype is complete, the new OEM sensing will be installed in your application for testing. We provide all test equipment and protocols as required.
Produce
Once testing is complete, prototypes will seamlessly move into mass production at our global production facilities. Lean manufacturing ensures that mass production meets the highest quality standards.
Throughout the development process, we work with you to ensure easy integration with your IT systems and manufacturing processes, ensuring that the final sensor components provide accurate data throughout the life of the product.
